Brooklyn, NY--A 7 alarm fire broke out at 665 New York Avenue in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn this morning around 10:30 a.m after a reported lighting strike struck the rooftop. Firefighters arrived to find a 7 story OMD with heavy fire running the cock-loft and the rooftop floors of the building. Multiple lines and ladder pipes went into service, companies had the job under-control around 2pm. Multiple firefighters were reported injured but seemed to be minor in nature.
